Learn
the basic skills you'll need to create beautiful
mosaic art
using glass tiles and stained glass. Create a decorative
mosaic mirror and mosaic vase during class which
covers design and layout, cutting and shaping glass,
adhesives, and grouting.
Instructor,Dianne
Sonnenberg, will share tips, techniques, and resources
that will help to make your beginner's project a
real work of art.

Glass Mosaic Tabletop
Indirect Method
Students
will create a decorative mosaic tabletop or trivet
using a variety of glass tiles and stained glass applied
with the "indiect method".
Advanced techniques will be discussed and utilized
in our design. A basic knowledge of mosaic tiling
is required.

Mosaic Serving Tray or Framed Mirror
In this class you will learn how to transfer a line
drawing or pattern to the surface you wish to mosaic
and techniques for
cutting and shaping tile to fit your design.

our colorful glass and ceramic tile. Bring your
own base for your mosaic project or purchase one
from
our fun and affordable selection of plaques, pots,
and picture frames. We also stock an eclectic assortment
of "previously owned" lamp bases, serving trays,
and treasure boxes. Plus, The Art Pad's line of
hand-cut vintage china, figurines and found objects
are just the thing to make your mosaic a unique
work of art.
